Brewed Love

Right outside my undergrad design school was this chai wala (loose translation - tea shop). He used to make and serve tea in a burnt, black gray ketely (loose translation - tea pot). Just the fragrant steam from the spout was sometimes enough to break our lecture induced daze.

Capturing the memory here with this "Brewed Love" illustration.

Here are some more pictures of my work space. I love to surround myself with bright colors. Current favorites are red, yellow and green, in the same order. For some strange reason I have developed an aversion for blue. Well for the time being anyway.

More pictures of my home here.

Precious Love

Precious love
You woke my heart up
It's been sleeping for such a long time
This crazy feeling I can believe in
Your love has found its way into my life
:)

This is how the door of my studio looks like now. I like the splash of green :)
Will post more pictures of the room soon!

A cuddle please!!

I have been working on this particular piece for over a week now. All the while my mind kept drifting to old memories of the walls of our house covered with bright pink Bougainvillea. It was a long time back and yet it is so crisp and clear in my head.

I'm calling it - A cuddle please.

Bed side table with some white porcelain pieces from Ross and red picture frame from Ikea. Notice the daises, we've had them for over 2 weeks now and they are still as fresh as ever.

Now that the bookmarks are here I slip one in with every art print.

V Day is almost here

Today's illustration is inspired by red, hearts, love... Valentine :)
And this little guy is called Mim.

I have also been experimenting with a little bit of photography. Though the pictures are not there just yet. Hopefully as soon as I figure out white balance and lighting the pictures will turn out much nicer.

Here is one picture of the packaging. This is how I'm hoping to do all the Etsy listings from now on. One picture of the art, another one as it is displayed and the third one of the packaging.

To all the hint dropping, top secret shopping and romantic getaways! Cheers!!
