Hodges was a rescue cat that passed way this august. His mom rescued him, showered him with love, and cared for him through his illness.

Here's a light-hearted portrait of Hodges that reminds of the stolen laughter, comfort and beauty that he bought to the family. :)

Parker and Charlee

Parker was a beautiful chocolate Lab. She was the best family dog, very well behaved and loyal. :)

Charlee is an Labradoodle. She acts much more like a poodle than a lab!

Halston and Louis

Halston (top) is very rambunctious and Louis (bottom) is a big cuddle bug and has the sweetest temperament! :)

Last weekend I also completed a custom banner for a fellow Etsy artist - Laurie of GiftsAndTalents.etsy.com

The sun is shining again :) Wind chill is stopping me from sitting by the pool so I'm making do with the sunlight streaming through the windows.

Our boxes too are scheduled to arrive tomorrow evening. Looking forward to cooking, unpacking and decorating again!

One Morning

We're back!!

It's just been a day here and my creative juices are flowing already!! Seems like Altanta is agreeing with me :D

We are still waiting for a broadband and cable connection and our boxes and car should arrive before thanksgiving. I'm currently in a neighbor's apartment using her internet for the time being. Work should get back to full flow soon now.

It's been drizzling since morning...the lovely kind of light rain that washes off all the grime from trees and makes the leaves green and sparkly. Rain makes me think of tea and here is my interpretation of tea in today's artwork.

Atlanta here I come!!!

We are moving from San Diego to Atalanta in the next 2 weeks. Yay!! It will be super fun, looking for houses and decorating once we move in!! It also means that I will be going offline for a few weeks.

Will resume one illustration a day as soon as I settle in. So long then :)
