Romance is in the air!!

We watched a romantic Hindi movie last weekend. It's called Love Aaj Kal. Aaj means today and Kal means tomorrow. It can be watched for free here!!

Swinging by

How was everybody's weekend? Mine was unexpectedly filled with clowns, monsters, fairies, toons and a priest or two. Well, we decided to swing by sea world on Saturday and catch a glimpse of Htloween festivities.

So glad I did!! Didn't know it could be so much fun! Next time we are definately dressing up as one or the other Indian gods or goddesses. :) It will be super!

On Sunday I made some installation art for some new illustration ideas. (Would have shared the pics only if they were not so grainy!!)

I'm going to spend Halloween cozy up at home with hubby, rent a movie or two (no scary stuff for me!) and ordering a takeout.

When I was a little girl I used to love cutting up paper to make this and that. It used to be fun for me but I guess whoever was stuck cleaning up after me would have a different story to tell ;)

November day

November is around the corner and the temperatures are dropping to low 50's. Call me crazy but I'm waiting for snow now :) Last year it was my first snow and this year is going to be my little sisters first snow!

With snow flakes, skiing, wood fire and hot tea in mind... here is today's illustration.

Story - Mory is going to propose tonight! He is thinking of a way that will sweep Sosha off her feet.(remember Mory and Sosha from the last illustration )

Cupcake

While chatting with an Etsy pal last night I realized that with seasons my color palette could also change. I gave it some thought and decided to try it out today :)

In today's illustration I used perky pastels. Its called Cupcake (duh!)


And the story - Sosha sprinkled the cupcake with little hearts to tell Mory how much she loved him :)

AWOL

I know I have been AWOL for a while but, I'm back now!! Things have been crazy, but they should get back to normal (?) soon now.

So what I have been up to? Dreaming up more porcelain!! Well I have no idea how this obsession started.. but here I am presenting to you another of my porcelain inspired illustrations.
